Dedham Voters,
This Saturday, April 8, we hope you will join us in voting for Stephen Acosta for Dedham School Committee. As family members who have all attended Dedham Public Schools, we strongly believe that Stephen will be able to serve our community with passion, pride, and dedication. We’ve witnessed qualities that have allowed him to thrive in his family, personal, and professional life, and we think those qualities will translate well to a role on the School Committee.
Stephen is incredibly passionate and caring for others and has an innate duty to serve and help others. We know he can use his passion for Dedham and Dedham Public Schools to serve the current students, like his brother Jason, and help to improve their experience as students.
Stephen is a great listener and a pragmatic thinker — he has always been interested in learning from members of our family, their experiences, and their thoughts. He also helps at every opportunity, whether it is technology help, researching what he doesn’t know, and is always extremely patient when he does help.
Stephen consistently sees the good in people and in every situation, and this empathy has allowed him to succeed in his professional role in state government, but also with his friends and family. He’s always there for others and that will be the same for the students and families of Dedham Public Schools, and he’s never afraid to work with others, even when opinions differ.
In closing, we’ve known Stephen longer than anyone, and we believe that he has grown into an impressive young man who will bring his perspective as a recent graduate and experiences to the table and work with others to serve Dedham Public Schools. We humbly ask that you cast one of your two votes for School Committee for Stephen Acosta in Saturday’s town election.
